Bilingual Assistant Jobs description

A bilingual assistant is responsible for performing administrative tasks in a culturally diverse office environment. A bilingual assistant's specific duties include checking and responding to emails; attending phone calls; filing and stationery handling; performing data entry on behalf of the department; materials tracking; coordinating with people from other departments; translating documents from English to other languages or vice-versa; distributing incoming mails; directing queries from both inside and outside the organization; and performing other tasks as assigned by a manager. A bilingual assistant typically reports to the office manager.
A bilingual assistant should have a high school diploma or an associate's degree in a relevant field. Prior experience as a bilingual assistant is advantageous. Excellent typing skills in English and one or more foreign languages are desirable. Excellent administrative skills and ability to work on multiple projects at a time are essential for a bilingual assistant role.
