Description

The Bilingual Production Professional 2 produces of a wide range of print projects for external and internal audiences. The Bilingual Production Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Bilingual Production Professional works with internal clients to process translation requests of pre-formatted communications. Partners with external translation vendors to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and are delivered to meet pre-determined deadlines. Proofreads translated files and works with vendor to provide updated final files. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bilingual English/Chinese: ability to speak English and Chinese fluently and read and write Traditional Chinese without limitations or assistance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including exceptional grammar skills in Traditional Chinese

Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Demonstrated attention-to-detail and proven organizational skills

Experience working in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work autonomously and manage one's work using strong time management skills

Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree minor/major in Traditional Chinese

Previous experience as writer/editor/journalism in Traditional Chinese

Experience partnering with/managing external vendors

Fluency in additional languages: Spanish, Korean, etc.

Experience working with Adobe InDesign

Additional Information

Due to COVID-19, candidate will work from home until Humana offices reopen.Location: Louisville, KY or Work-at-home (Easter on Central Time Zones)

Hours M-F 8:30 to 5:00 Eastern Time
