Sales Associates Jobs description
Bilingual sales associate positions are generally available with organizations including a multi-national company, educational institute, bank, hotel, hospital, telecom company, IT/software company, or any other company catering to a demographically diverse customer base. Bilingual sales associates are responsible for cold calling and prospecting; fixing up appointments with customers; understanding customer requirements; suggesting a product or service that most suits buyer requirements; overcoming hurdles in the selling activity; up-selling and cross-selling; negotiating prices; meeting and exceeding the sales quotas or sales targets assigned. A sales associate typically reports to a bilingual sales manager.Bilingual sales associates should have a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree in a relevant field. Prior experience as a sales associate may be advantageous. Fluency in French, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic or any other foreign language is essential. Excellent negotiation skills are a key trait for a bilingual sales associate role.
