Physician Jobs description
A bilingual physician diagnoses and treats patients of different ethnicity. An opening for a bilingual physician may be available at a hospital, dispensary, public health center, medical college, or any other institution providing health-related services to bilingual patients suffering from ailments or diseases. Typical duties of a bilingual physician include diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical problems of non-native or bilingual patients; providing acute care for occupational injuries; supervising hospital staff in absence of a medical director; and performing administrative duties as requested by a medical director. A bilingual physician typically reports to a medical director.A bilingual physician should be a graduate of an accredited medical program. Excellent academic credentials are required. Fluency in English and French, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic, or any other language is essential for a bilingual physician position.
