Bilingual Collector Jobs description
A bilingual collector job opening may be available with any organization that lends money or offers its products or services on credit. Typical duties of a bilingual collector include calling on individuals or businesses to remind them about pending payments, taking appointments to receive checks or payments, following up in case an appointment is not fixed, visiting customer premises to collect the receivables, ensuring excellent customer service experience, informing about the various schemes applicable in case of need for early payments, handling the defaulters tactically, offering the appropriate schemes to go with and make payments, and meeting periodical collections or recovery targets assigned by the collections manager. A bilingual collector typically reports to the collections manager or recovery manager.A bilingual collector should have an associate's degree or a high school diploma. Stellar customer service skills and negotiation ability is helpful. Prior experience as a bilingual collector may prove beneficial.
