\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Conduct financial screening and documentation gathering for patients to determine qualification for payment programs.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Compile and maintain necessary financial records for all payment programs.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Register patients into the Management Information/Automated Billing System and update any changes in patient status.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Maintain basic knowledge of various programs pertaining to Clinica reimbursement including but not limited to Medicaid, Medicare, CICP, CHP , and third party payers.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Perform eligibility screenings, paperwork and follow up. Deliver Medicaid packets to Department of Social Services.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Verify insurance on a daily basis.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Complete and pass a biennial competency assessment.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Serve as support staff to front desk when necessary.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Maintain a safe work environment.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u0026bull; Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cp\u003e1. High school diploma or GED required.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e2. One year experience within a medical facility preferred.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eB. Knowledge, skills and abilities:\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e1. Fluent in written and spoken Spanish a must.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003e2. Knowledge of Management Information/Automated Billing systems preferred.\u003c/p\u003e
