Description:
King University in Bristol, Tennessee is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to serve as Director of Undergraduate Recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in higher education admissions
• Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree in a related field preferred
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of trends, best practices, and emerging issues in higher education admissions
• Strong analytical abilities and experience in developing and executing successful recruitment and admissions strategies.
• Experience using a CRM system
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Vice President for Enrollment to develop and implement an effective recruitment plan to meet annual undergraduate enrollment goals for the institution
• Collaborate with the Vice President for Enrollment to coordinate targeted enrollment initiatives with academic and administrative departments on campus
• Foster and continuously improve a student-centered culture throughout the admissions process, ensuring excellent service and support for prospective students and their families
• Provide ongoing training, leadership, and direct supervision for the team of enrollment counselors
• Oversee implementation of a communication plan using the CRM to ensure intentional, consistent, personalized contact with prospective students and families throughout the enrollment cycle
• Plan and oversee a full array of recruitment and yield events for prospective students
• Monitor admissions trends, analyze data, and make informed decisions in response to organizational needs and metrics
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment policies and procedures
• Manage the departmental budget
