Job Description
Essential responsibilities
Execute assigned technology maturation projects.
Lead required simulations to study and optimize additive process parameters
Develop and consolidate additive technology Business cases.
Support the definition and evolution of additive roadmap within the organization (including Material development and innovative post-processing technologies) in order to reach company goals
According with all the lesson learnt provide feedback to improve/align current DPs and methods
Participate as a presenter in technical and project reviews.
Provide consultation and technical direction to the engineering community on near term and longer-range projects with substantial business impact.
Remain current in the state of the art within own technical specialty for new products introduction activity, performance improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Support the requested External funding bid and proposal initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited University
Strong knowledge in welding process, Non-linear elasto-plastic simulations and additive manufacturing
The ability to produce clear, concise reports and other documentation, of appropriate quality.
Knowledge of key aeronautical engines layout, architecture and mechanical systems arrangements
Fluency in English and Italian language, both written and oral
Ability to work under pressure with other team members
EU Work Permit.
