Job Description
Essential responsibilities
Execute assigned design for additive projects to progress additive manufacturing/technology readiness and robustness.
Build Design optimization for reaching producibility targets of the whole manufacturing process.
Assist design owner to concur on additive producible solutions (considering the full manufacturing process)
Design with additive logic the assigned PNs and develop/consolidate relative Business cases.
Support the definition and evolution of additive roadmap within the organization (including Material development and innovative post-processing technologies) in order to reach company goals
According with all the lesson learnt provide feedback to improve/align current DPs and methods
Proactively support and/or execute other Engineering tasks and initiatives.
Participate as a presenter in technical and project reviews.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Strong experience in design for additive role for aeronautic components.
Strong experience in build optimization
Strong experience in additive process simulation
Knowledge of key aeronautical engines layout, architecture and mechanical systems arrangements
Fluency in English and Italian language, both written and oral;
The ability to work under pressure with other team members.
EU Work Permit.
The ability to produce clear, concise reports and other documentation, of appropriate quality.
