About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a full time OTA who is bilingual in the Spanish language to join our in-house therapy team at South Mountain Post-Acute Care Center at Baseline and Central in Phoenix. We seek a therapist who has a passion for long term care program development – or learning how to do it. As part of our team you will enjoy a stable in-house environment and have the freedom to implement the programs that you feel will most benefit your patients. We have an awesome Director of Rehab and facility team who can offer the support and training needed to provide excellent programs such as specialty programs for Parkinson's Disease and other neurological impairments, Abilities Care Approach, Alter G treadmill programs, cardiac rehab, and many more! We see a diverse mix of orthopedic, neurological and cognitive disorders, and many of our patients are returning to home. South Mountain receives support from Ensign Services who provides a wide range of clinical and operational assistance to over 200 independently owned healthcare operations located throughout the United States. Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines

Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record

Assist in maintaining department

Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences

Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area

Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.

Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility

Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures

Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program
